Crystal River's Nature Coast area may be the most popular
scallop harvesting destination in Florida! Since scalloping
reopened in the crystal river area in 2002, after being
banned for several years, Crystal River has proven to
be one of the most poplar areas for scalloping. Due
to the banning, scallops in our area have once again
become abundant.
Scallop beds are located mostly
in shallow water, which makes it easy and fun for the
whole family! A snorkel, mask, fins, and a bag are all
you need to enjoy this sport.
Our boat leaves dock at 7:00 am and returns at 1:30 pm
the season is only open from July 1st thru September 10th.
(So remember to book as soon
as possible to insure that seating is available.)
